Willow creek

Trail Head facilities Pit toilet. Dirt parking area next to creek.

Directions: From Exit #64 on I-84 east of Boise turn left or North from Exit Ramp onto Blacks Creek Road (aka FS Rd # 189) and follow paved road 6.5 miles to "Y" intersection (at bottom of hill & creek crossing), turn left or north. Road sign says Prairie, Bender Creek 7 mi & Willow Creek 11 mi. This road (FS Rd #189) will soon change to dirt and climb over a saddle at 11.2 miles from freeway exit; continue over saddle and down other side for 7.1 more miles. At mile 14.8 you will see Bender Creek trail head-this is motorcycle headquarters. You have 3.5 more miles to go. At Willow Creek there is a Forest Service Pit Toilet right in the parking area. (Do not continue up the hill past Willow Creek or it will be a long ways for a turn around spot).

Or...if coming from Kuna/Nampa ...you can take Kuna Mora Rd. Kuna Mora Rd. turns into Blacks Creek Rd. at I 84.

Distance from 1-84 exit 64 18.3 miles

Road conditions: paved changing to dirt at county line.

Camping: unimproved

Trail: single track along creek some timber but opens into more sage brush up higher. A number of loop trail options off creek trail interlaced with motorcyle routes.

Trail conditions: good

Riding season: late March until November

Trail clearing: April & May
