Trail Head: Sand Creek -Landmark
Trail to Honeymoon Lake & Morehead Lookout & Lake.

Directions: Hwy 55 to Cascade; Warm Lake Hwy from Cascade to Warm Lake continue on FS Road to Landmark [about 46 miles] At Landmark go east (left) across Johnson Creek Bridge on FS road #: 447 go past turn-in to air strip to next right (sand creek) Follow road clear to end ~ 5 miles. There is gravel parking area where road dead ends.
 

TRAIL: The trail leaves the TH following a blocked log road then road changes to trail before it climbs up the bowl of Sandcreek and Crosses over the ridge at the top of the Bowl and runs along side hill until it hits a ridgeback above Honeymoon Lake. Then it travels the ridgeback until it passes HM Lake and drops off the east side across some meadows and climbs the ridgeback to Morehead Lookout.
